A young actor singing a song for a show at the Brick Children’s Comm Theater in New Jersey is going viral on TikTok.
“Where is my father?” the actor sings, while holding a large Finding Nemo puppet and moving his mouth. “I’m all alone. I’m too small to be here alone. I swam because I got angry. But now I really need him. Where is my father?”
The kid is a very good singer, but that’s not what caught the internet’s attention. There are thousands of videos using sound talk about things that adults need to do that they would like their fathers to be there for, or to do for them.
“Me when I have to do an oil change”, or “me when it’s time to do my tax return”, or “me when my car needs more gas”, or “me the second my check engine light comes on”, or “me when I turned 26 and had to buy my own health insurance”.
He’s also my cat when he wants someone to watch him eat breakfast.
