James Woods, who has long been one of the only openly conservative stars in Hollywood, took to social media Thursday night to take a stand in support of the Second Amendment, which gives Americans the right to bear arms.

Woods, 76, has long been a strong Second Amendment advocate.

Woods takes down Alyssa Milano
That same year, Woods hit back at radically liberal Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano after she said, “The guns people buy today could end up being used in households, schools, churches, bars and in our homes. streets in the future. We all need to be careful of each other, so please, please, please share this video to stop the coronavirus gun tide. We cannot lose any more lives to guns during this pandemic or after it is over. »
Woods, however, had none of that.

Woods ‘blacklisted’ by Hollywood
Woods, who has been nominated for two Oscars in the past, previously claimed he was “blacklisted” by Hollywood for being a conservative.
“I too was blacklisted by this individual at #HFPA after nine Golden Globe nominations,” he tweeted in 2018. “During a press conference with HFPA he asked if I would support Hillary Clinton if she ever ran for president. Never nominated again.
Around the same time, Woods revealed that he had been let go by his agent, whom he described as a “political liberal”, because of his views.
“It’s the 4th of July and I feel patriotic. I don’t want to represent you anymore. I mean I could rant but you know what I would say,” Woods’ former agent Ken Kaplan wrote to him in an email.

Woods defends Trump
Woods was also a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump.
“Let’s face it. Donald Trump is a brutal individual,” Woods tweeted in 2020. “He is conceited, insensitive, and raw. But he loves America more than any president in my life.
“He’s the last firewall between us and this cesspool called Washington,” he continued. “I’ll take it any day on any of these bums.”
