Newly released security footage from the Capitol on Jan. 6 shows Nancy Pelosi’s daughter continuing to film for a documentary as the then-president was evacuated from the building.
The clips, showing three different angles of Pelosi’s outing, have been released and released for the public to view by just the news Thursday evening.
The evacuation was not exactly the chaotic scene one might have expected. Instead, it shows Pelosi casually hanging out while her daughter Alexandra holds up a camera to film the scene.
The outlet reports that the prominent Democrat “walked Hollywood-style out of Congressional headquarters” with “her daughter filming her as security guards attempted to guide her through a secret and secure passage hallway.”
Alexandra Pelosi is a filmmaker who happened to be there to film “Pelosi in the House”, a HBO Documentary released last December.

Critics blast Pelosi over new J6 video
Republican lawmakers responded to the J6 video of Pelosi wandering out of the Capitol accusing him of profiting from the riots.
“They’re using this situation to film it so their family can make millions of dollars later selling the footage and a documentary,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said.
“It’s about creating a movie script,” added Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY). “It’s about power, abuse of power.”
She said the footage practically looked like a “made-for-TV movie”.

Steven Sund, the Capitol Police Chief at the time of the riot, criticized Pelosi after watching the J6 video.
“The protective detail is not there to protect the media and anyone else who was there with it for the sole purpose of recording video creates a major distraction for the protective detail,” Sund says.

Pelosi on Capitol Riot: ‘Now is my time’, threatens to hit Trump
The Political Insider reported on the Alexandra Pelosi documentary in October 2022.
The video at the time showed Nancy Pelosi saying she hoped then-President Trump would walk to the Capitol himself so she could “punch it.”
“I hope he comes,” Pelosi says in the documentary clip. “I want to hit him. It’s my time. I was expecting this. For trespassing on Capitol grounds. I want to hit him, and I’m going to jail, and I’m going to be happy.
“I hope he comes, I’m going to hit him… I’m going to hit him, I’m going to go to jail and I’m going to be happy.”

“Now is my time.”
And the film continued to roll even under an evacuation order.
Former Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller suggested that Pelosi was an “incoherent” and “screaming” mess during the Jan. 6 riot, and downplayed the crowd that swarmed the Capitol as “a group rowdy supporters of MAGA” who were “taking selfies”.
Well, they weren’t as camera-hungry as the President herself, it seems.

“I had never seen anyone – not even the greenest, pimply-faced 19-year-old Army soldier – panic the way our nation’s former statesmen did on January 6 and in the months that followed. followed,” joked Miller.
Miller described a “histrionic” Pelosi as demanding that he “bring troops to the Capitol now” as rioters grew in number.
But these videos don’t show any histrionics. Was calling the troops little more than performance art on his part?
