Alabama Governor Kay Ivey grilled former sports network ESPN with a tweet correcting their biased reporting on a bill she signed banning biological men from participating in women’s varsity sports.
Ivey signed the legislation on Tuesday.
“Look, if you’re a biological male, you’re not going to compete in women’s and women’s sports in Alabama,” she announced. “It’s a matter of fairness, pure and simple.”
The media have been beside themselves since she signed the bill.
Take, for example, CNN which frames the argument while Ivey places “limits” on transgender athletes. In reality, allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports imposes limits on the women.

Kay Ivey just castrated ESPN
Look, I don’t care who you are, Kay Ivey is a national treasure and should be celebrated as such. The wife is all business and has no time for games.
This was clearly evident when she responded to a tweet from ESPN that called athletes banned as women…”transgender women.”
“On Tuesday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed legislation banning transgender women from playing on women’s college sports teams,” they wrote. “This expands the state’s existing ban on transgender athletes on K-12 sports teams.”

You’d think the ‘sports’ network would be celebrating an initiative to protect the integrity of women’s sport. It is, after all, a network that still believes the WNBA is a viable product.
But no, they couldn’t do that.
And Governor Kay Ivey jumped on their tweet explaining that it’s not about something transgender, but rather about science and biology.
Ivey offered to “fix” ESPN’s reporting and replaced the term “transgender women” with “biological MEN”, instantly making it more accurate.
let me fix this, @espn.

Ivey praised for signing the bill, blasting ESPN
Governor Kay Ivey got high marks both for signing the bill banning biological men from women’s sports and for adding just a dash of Science™ to ESPN’s tweet calling it a ban on “transgender women.” “.
“ESPN should be one of the first to say it’s wrong for bio-men to compete with bio-women. This really shouldn’t be a debate,” one person writing.
Others responded to ESPN’s tweet about the bill in question, celebrating it.
“Based”, reads a tweet. “Every governor should do this.”
Jordan Schachtel, investigative journalist and writer for The Dossier, simply pointed out “she bans guys from women’s sports”.

While Ivey protects women’s sports, Democrats are doing everything they can to destroy it.
Last April, a bill protecting women’s sports passed the House with only Republican support. The legislation – HR 734 – makes it a violation of Title IX to “permit male individuals to participate in programs or activities that are directed to women or girls.”
Zero Democrats voted to protect women’s and women’s sports from encroachment by biological males. They want guys in women’s sports.
The news prompted Riley Gaines, a former star NCAA swimmer in Kentucky, to eviscerate the hardline liberal party.

“It’s almost ironic,” Gaines told Fox News host Harris Faulkner. “The left used to be a party that embraced women and fought for women’s rights. And now we’ve seen that narrative totally reversed.
“It just shows that the war on women is on, and Democrats will pay for it in 2024,” she warned.
Governor Ivey is on the side of the women in this war. Real women.
