“If CNN goes ahead with its planned town hall with Donald Trump tomorrow, the news network will provide a reputable insurgent, liar and conspiracy theorist with free, unfiltered airtime with only fact-checking. live limited. This decision by CNN is dangerous and indefensible and must be reversed immediately.
“Just in the past few months, Trump has doubled down on his election conspiracy theories and denial, offered to end the Constitution, and inspired hatred and violence toward a New York prosecutor who rightly holds him accountable for alleged crimes. .
