It’s Amazon Pet Today’s day – in fact, do that daysbecause the sales event is happening May 3 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. The majority of offers are for cats and dogs, but there are offers for small animals. It’s important to note that some of our favorite pet gadgets are on sale, and we’ve highlighted them below. You can find additional recommendations in our guides to the best cat supplies, the best dog gear, and the best pet cameras.
Special offer for Gear readers: get a One-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access to WIRED.com and our print magazine (if desired). Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.
Deals on cleaning supplies
That matches the lowest price we’ve seen for this handy little gadget, which you might recognize as it floats around TikTok from time to time. It is one of the best cordless vacuums and carpet cleaners. The gadget is lightweight with great battery life and it’s easy to clean all the parts once your messes are gone.
We haven’t seen this carpet cleaner go so low. It’s similar to the aforementioned Bissell cleaner, but the SpotClean Pet Pro is a little bigger and a little more powerful. If you want something with longer run times, bigger capacity, or more power, this is a safe bet.
The Aquapaw is a nifty little scrubber that you can attach to your shower head or a hose. Strap it to your palm and flip a switch on the adapter and the water will come out, allowing you to direct the flow exactly where it needs to go (not into your pet’s ears).
This is a match to deals we’ve seen in previous sale events like Memorial Day and Prime Day. It’s rare to see this review-approved fur remover fall much lower. I use this tool at least once a week. It’s a very simple way to get rid of the fur that accumulates on cushions and other surfaces. Just move it back and forth and the roller will do the rest.
Pet Camera Deals
Photography: Furbo
The Furbo 360 Dog Camera (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of the best pet cameras you can buy, especially for doggos. It usually sells for around $200 and does not drop in price below what we see today. The camera can rotate to give you a 360 degree view of your home (and everything your pet is up to). Above all, it can toss treats to your pets while you are away.
This simple camera didn’t make any of our lists, but it’s fine for people looking for a basic option for home pet monitoring. We don’t like the Petcube app because it’s a bit bloated with unnecessary features, but for $30 it’s hard to beat this deal. Note that the camera only works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. For more recommendations, check out our Best Pet Cameras and Best Indoor Security Cameras guides.
Deals on everything else
This is our favorite dog bed. Some sizes and colors are discounted. The memory foam construction cushions joints and muscles, and the bed isn’t too high. The cover is washable. The price of these beds fluctuates quite often, but quite often goes up to the MSRP of $139, so we think this deal is worth it.
My cats are picky eaters. I discovered these treats through Duane Hook videos. He rescues cats from trees, often using Churu treats as bait to bring stranded kittens closer. My cats love this product on its own, but I also add it to their wet food if they are reluctant to eat it. You can find more deals on cat food and treats here.
We have already tried and enjoyed this brand’s DNA tests for dogs. This kit filters out all sorts of information, from specific race and trait information to genetic markers of health for indicators of things like drug sensitivities. The price is $5 lower than previous discounts we’ve tracked.
This product was a lifesaver when caring for a parent’s Very Stinky dog. He took baths regularly, but that didn’t stop him from rolling around in whatever moisture he could find. The cologne is a fair price without the coupon, but if you choose to order through Subscribe & Save, there’s a coupon that will get you an additional 30% off. Subscribe & Save orders are easy to change or cancel in your account settings once your first shipment arrives.
