Megyn Kelly has been a great insider on the entire Tucker Carlson/FOX News fiasco.
According to Kelly and his sources, Tucker was not fired by FOX News. He’s been put in a sort of limbo where he’s still technically under contract.
This means Tucker can’t go anywhere else until they have an exit deal.
In the video below, she says:
“Tucker wasn’t fired. This is my information. That he still has to negotiate the exit. And that right now he’s not free to start a podcast or a digital show, or negotiate at all with other employers because he’s still under contract.
Kelly notes that Tucker Carlson saw FOX News go through one of the toughest times in its entire history and “smashed the ball” out of the park.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly said it was a “terrible decision” for Fox News to end its relationship with prime time host Tucker Carlson.
Kelly also said she thought Fox forced the issue, though she acknowledged it was a “guess” on her part.
“It’s a terrible decision on Fox’s part, and it’s a good thing for Tucker Carlson,” Kelly said on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
“I don’t know what prompted Fox News to make this decision. And that was clearly Fox News’ decision because they’re not letting him say goodbye,” she said. “That’s my guess. It is not inside knowledge. … Talk again about misjudging your audience.
FOX News is clearly hoping this is all going to blow up, but FOX viewers are really pissed off about it.
