Apparently, George Santos is such a corrupt and heinous cancer that he even blew up Senator Mitt Romney on him.
Video:
Asked Mitt Romney if he’s disappointed President McCarthy didn’t call on George Santos to step down.
“Yes,” he said.
Santos “should sit in the back row and be quiet instead of parading past the president and people entering the room,” Romney said. pic.twitter.com/obpaYD8v1x

Romney told reporters, “He should sit in the back row and be quiet instead of parading past the president and people entering the room.”
Senator Romney later added, “He says, you know, he embellished his record. Look, beautifying is saying you got an A when you got an A-. Lying is saying you graduated from a college you didn’t even attend and he shouldn’t be in Congress. And they’re going to go through the process and hopefully get it out there. .. But he shouldn’t be here and if he had any shame, he wouldn’t be here.

Kevin McCarthy could easily muster enough votes to kick Santos out of the House, but he knows Santos’ seat will almost certainly go to the Democrats, so Speaker McCarthy is going to keep Santos until he annoys all the other Republicans with his presence to the point where McCarthy has to get rid of him.
The Speaker of the House finally admitted that Santos was under investigation by the ethics committee, but the investigation will take time, and even if the committee recommends Santos’ expulsion, there is no certainty that McCarthy would hold an expulsion vote.
George Santos is becoming a huge problem. If he pushes Mitt Romney to the limit, the situation must be toxic.
